                                        Hello and Welcome

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  I truly believe that healing begins with a strong, trusting relationship, and I am here to create that space with you.  My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow.  Together, we will work at your pace to explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting positive change. 

                                My approach to therapy

I use a collaborative and supportive approach, grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help you explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.  Together we'll identify patterns, build coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.  

I also recognize that each person's journey is unique.  Depending on the challenges you bring to counseling, I may integrate other therapeutic modalities to provide the most personalized and effective support for your healing and growth.

                  What you can expect from our first session

The initial session serves as an opportunity to establish rapport and begin developing a therapeutic alliance.  We will review the concerns that led you to seek counseling, clarify your goals for treatment, and identify any immediate challenges.  I will also provide an overview  of the therapeutic process, address any questions you may have, and collaboratively begin formulating  a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
